Hello again all
A brief update.
June is going well. Check the blogroll for the latest!
Podcasts are coming!
The new streamlined website is still in the pipeline. We’re 1/4 of the way there.
Great writing here
Looking forward to the rest of June.
When the weather beckons, run, don’t walk.

Bonjour and Salaam,
The internet connects the people of the world. You, dear reader, could be in Turkey or Ecuador or French Guiana or South Korea… only you know… and the wonderful people at google keeping track of our every online move.
Anyway, more importantly, the Dark Comedy Hour will be DOWN! Not like, yeah, Im down with “average Joe Rock Band” band… Or I’m-down-with-calling-’the guy’-even-though-its-4-in-the-morning-and-I’m-on-the-verge-of-passing-out-I’m-down. Down as in when you visit the homepage, they’ll be a tongue-in-cheek message about the site currently not working.
This is all in the name of a better Dark Comedy Hour experience for you and me.
In the meantime, the blogs inspire me!

Hey All.
Its a red letter day here at the Dark Comedy Hour. Let us welcome two new blogs: Adam’s Garden and Bye Bye Blue Smoke.
We don’t expect much from anyone here at the dark comedy hour, so it’ll be great to see what’s come up with!
There happens to be a new podcast as well (actually, it’s the Break Ups podcast with a couple of added stories… great stories) So check that out.
Stay tuned and enjoy the summer swelter. Envy the fish in the sea and the birds in the sky… but never thy neighbor.

Hello all!
We at the Dark Comedy Hour would just like to say “thank you” and “Keep up the good work” in this the season of humidity, high gas prices, love, life, sun, and bbq.
Your indefatigable patience has been much appreciated as have your ideas, input, suggestions, comments, words and more. Please, keep it coming at your leisure and at your pace!
Now, it is with great pleasure that I remind you all to check out the blogs. It seems that Eugene Sounds has decided to grace us with another post. A different direction for Mr. Sounds, he’s moved away slightly from the personal historical narrative style he’d been doing to a more reflective, tangential prose.
Rox Sirando writes a feeling (oft cerebral) though the prose-poetry is suggestive of sultry hot and almost deadly (sub)urban vistas. Small town images. The tone is thick and sweet bitter. Like the bees have been drinking dark beer all summer.
D’O-Clock blesses us with news of Bands that at least we here at the Dark Comedy Hour hadn’t yet heard of.
Thanks and enjoy your time while the plague is at bay, the locusts have yet to swarm, and the floods are still halfway round the world…

Maybe the weather has brought upon the dark comedy hour and the greater community a general sense of malaise… great! That means people are enjoying themselves (or working extremely hard) as the world continues to tumble toward inevitable disaster… gotta love that doom and gloom forecasting. I’ve recently learned that meteorological algorithmic models are based on old weather patterns: don’t trust the weather man and his seemingly intuitively moving maps. Enjoy each day for whatever surprise it brings.
Enjoy the East Village Republican. I feel that primary fatigue is waning… this could be because I haven’t been paying attention. But things seem to be heating up for one Democrat in particular… who will he choose as his running mate?
Next: there are lots of interesting older posts you can read through at the dark comedy hour. Check those out.
There will be more great things coming soon. So stay tuned!
